Master Chris Beanland

Founder Beanland Taekwondo and President of ITFU England

I’m Master Chris Beanland, 8th Degree, and I’ve been practicing Taekwondo for over four decades, I’ve dedicated my life to training, teaching, and promoting traditional ITF Taekwondo here in the UK.

In 2013, I founded Beanland Taekwondo with the goal of creating a club that focused on strong values, high standards, and a welcoming environment for students of all ages. Since then, the organisation has grown to include successful clubs in Keighley and Saltaire, and I’m proud of the community we’ve built together.

In 2025, I was promoted—by unanimous decision—to President of ITF Union England, the governing body for ITF Union in England. It’s an honour to take on this role and to support the continued development of Taekwondo nationally.

I remain fully committed to training, developing instructors, supporting students, and upholding the traditions and principles that make ITF Taekwondo such a powerful and meaningful martial art.
